Scrooge: The Musical is a popular stage musical that was first staged in Birmingham in 1992. It was based on a 1970 film of the same title, which starred Albert Finney. Leslie Bricusse wrote the book and lyrics in addition to composing the music, a work for which he received an Academy Award.
The story follows the miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghost of his dead partner Jacob Marley, as well as the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. These ghosts take Scrooge on a life-changing journey that changes the old mans perspective forever.
