Anything Goes is a musical with original with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and original book by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse. It opened at the Alvin Theatre on Broadway in 1934. Since then, it has been revived several times in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other locations. It has also been filmed twice, first in 1936 and then in 1956.

Set aboard the ocean liner S.S. American, the story revolves around Billy Crocker, who has stowed away to be near his love, the heiress Hope Harcourt. Unfortunately, Miss Harcourt is already engaged to the affluent Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, so Billy will need the help of his gal pal, nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, to win the love of his life. Also joining the foray is Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin. With the aid of some intricate disguises and elaborate scheming, the three hope to get the planned matrimony called off before everything is too late.

Your production of Anything Goes will not be complete without stage backdrops that evoke the thrill of a transatlantic voyage.
