Seussical is a musical based on three popular tales made by Dr. Seuss, namely Horton Hears a Who, Horton Hatches the Egg, and Miss Gertrude McFuzz. It premiered on Broadway in 2000, and even though the plays story differs from the original source material, it has garnered a lot of praise, which helped the producers branch out into two US national tours and a UK tour. In 2008, Horton Hears A Who made it into the silver screen as a computer-animated adventure comedy. It earned around $297.1 million at the box office.
