What is a castle without a good dungeon? Dark Castle Dungeon is just what every Beauty and the Beast needs.  Emerald impenetrable bricks contrast the light brown pillars and arches. The massive door seems like a border between freedom and captivity, which elevates the scene and brings a more dynamic element to the story. The small, arched window is placed high, so it is hard to see outside, and the thick iron bars are separating prisoners from the rest of the world. There is only one light on one of the pillars, accompanied by the dim light of a candle holder placed in the corner of the room.

The stage backdrop design is perfect for Beauty and the Beast, but can also be used for any show that need a gloomy dungeon, such as Phantom of the Opera, Camelot, Wizard of Oz, Hansel and Gretel, and many others.
