Get ready to take part in this chilly adventure!

Arandelle is a kingdom of love and magic, as evidenced by the princesses Elsa and Anna, with the former being gifted magical powers of ice. One day while paling, Elsa accidentally hurts Anna, and to save her life, her parents take her to the trolls, who cure her and erase any memory she has of her sister’s powers.

From that point on, Elsa becomes extremely weary of using her powers and distances herself from her sister to keep her safe. When the princesses reach adulthood their parents pass away and Elsa is the next in line for the throne. During a gathering at the castle, Anna and Elsa meet Prince Hans, from the Southern Isles. After sharing a brief moment, Hans proposes to Anna and is met with disdain by her sister. After objecting to their relationship, Elsa lashes out and reveals her power to the entire ball, only to be met with witch accusations and forced to run away.

Elsa finds herself in the woods and builds a castle made of ice. For the first time, she feels like herself and vows to stay there and never return to her kingdom. In the meantime, due to Elsa’s lash-out, Arandeele has been submitted to a merciless winter. Anna sets up to go after her sister and leaves Hans in charge while she’s gone. She meets Kristoff, icemen, his reindeer Sven, and a living snowman Olaf on her way there. They agree to help her find Elsa and begin moving north.

When Anna finally finds Elsa, she becomes anxious and shuts her sister out thinking it would protect her, but inadvertently freezes her heart. Upon seeing Anna needs help, Kristoff takes her to the Trolls to cure her, but they admit that only an act of true love can save her. He then goes back to Arandelle, thinking Hans can save her.

Once in Arandelle, Hans reveals that he was never in love with Anna, and now that he has also captured Elsa, he plans to kill both sisters and take over the kingdom. The sisters manage to escape and Olaf tries to help Anna reunite with Kristoff who is genuinely in love with her. As they flee, Hans intervenes and attempts to kill Elsa, so instead of going to Kristoff, Anna steps between Hans and Elsa and saves her sister.

Devastated over her sister’s sacrifice, Elsa hugs her sister while crying, not realizing that Anna is slowly thawing in her embrace, as the act of true love that saved her was protecting Elsa.

Princess Elsa realizes that the key to controlling her magical powers is love. She takes back control of the kingdom and ends the merciless winter, locks up Hans for treason, and opens the gates of the castle. She makes amends with her sister, who has found true love in Kristoff and begins a new chapter of their life together no longer living in fear.

On the other hand, the Frozen Ice Castle backdrop portrays a castle in a frigid landscape under a starry night. Set upon a snowy hill, it is depicted as an imposing structure with many windows, battlements, and turrets. The foothills and the surrounding environment are dotted with snowy trees. The mountains in the background are seemingly frozen in time from the glacial conditions brought about by winter or by an icy magical spell.
