Make the classic tale come alive with Grosh Backdrops!
Sophie Sheridan dreams of having her father walk her down the aisle. The only problem is she does not know who her father is. To fulfill her wishes, she invites three men, Bill, Sam, and Harry, whom she believes might be her father to her wedding without telling them the whole truth, as she is convinced that after spending time with each one she will know who her father is.
To hide them from her mother, Sophie asks them to stay in the goat house. However, Sophie’s mother, Donna, does find them and does not enjoy the idea of them staying. She later confides to her friends that she does not know who Sophie’s father is, and they reassure them they will take care of the man.
Sophie spends time with Bill, Sam, Harry, and her husband as she listens to stories of her mother’s youth. She also tries to spend time with them individually, which leads her to believe that Bill might be her father. However, Sam and Harry, who have figured out why she invited them, both tell her they are her father.
As Sophie becomes more confused, Donna tries to comfort her and advises her to cancel the wedding. Sophie refuses to listen and tells her fiance the full truth. In the meantime, Sam and Donna confess they still have feelings for each other.
Later on, as she gets ready for the wedding, Donna admits her mother disowned her when she found out she was pregnant. She tells Sophie that she is her biggest pride, and Sophie asks her to be the one to give her away.
At the wedding, Sam tells Donna he wishes to restart where they left off, and reveals he went after her when they were young but she was already gone. The three men also agreed to share Sophie’s father’s status, as they do not wish to solve the mystery of who her father is.
Sophie proposes to her fiance to postpone the wedding and instead travel the world together. Instead, Sam and Donna get married as their feelings for each other have not changed since their youth.
