Rent
Rent is a rock musical by Jonathan Larson that follows a group of impoverished young artists and musicians living in New York City's East Village in the 1990s. The story takes place over the course of a year and explores themes of love, loss, AIDS, and modern life. The musical is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera La bohème.
