Get ready to travel to a magical world!
Dorothy is a young girl who lives merrily in a village with her family and dog, Toto. Her day-to-day life is extremely normal until a mysterious tornado takes her, Toto, and the entire farm one day, and transports her into the magical land of Oz. As she arrives, she is greeted by the Munchkins, who celebrate that her farmhouse landed on top of the Wicked Witch of the East, freeing them in the process.
Shortly after, the Good Witch of the North, Glinda, appears, informs Dorothy of her accomplishment, and gifts her silver slippers. As she asks for help to get back home, Glinda advises her to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz and ask for his help to get back home. Then she sends Dorothy off and tells her to follow the yellow brick road.
On her way to the Emerald City, Dorothy meets a Tin Man, a Scarecrow, and a Cowardly Lion. Each one informs Dorothy of their wishes: the Tin Man wants a heart, the Scarecrow wants a brain, and the Cowardly Lion wants courage. Dorothy tells them to join her on her journey and ask the Wizard of Oz for his help.
When the group of friends finally arrive at the Emerald City, they ask the Guardians of the Gate to see Oz, and after much insisting, they agree to concede all of them in a private meeting with the Wizard. To each of them, he presents as a different entity; to Dorothy, he is a giant face, to the scarecrow, a kind woman, to the Cowardly Lion, a ball of fire, and to the Tin Man, a horrible beast. Unable to scare them away, Oz agrees to concede their wishes only if they kill the Wicked Witch of the West.
Dorothy and her friends embark on a new adventure searching for the Wicked Witch of the West, who sends out some of her focus for them, but they defeat all of them, that’s until the Witch manages to capture Dorothy, Toto, and injure her friend so they cannot come to save her. Slaved by the wicked witch of the West, Dorothy must exit to help her friends and accomplish her mission.
After the Witch tricks her and takes one of her silver shoes, an angered Dorothy throws a bucket of water toward the Witch, which causes it to melt down. After the Witch is defeated, they return to the Wizard, only to be met by the surprising reveal that he is an ordinary man hiding behind a curtain. To fulfill his promise, he makes gifts to each of the heroes, grating them tokens that make them see that what they have been looking for has existed inside all along. To Dorothy, he explains that he is also from Kansas and accidentally arrived in this land one day on a hot air balloon. He offers her the opportunity to return with him using the same transport.
When they are about to leave, Toto escapes, leaving Dorothy to chase him down and miss the opportunity to leave with the Wizard. She then goes back to Glinda to ask for her help, who tells her she’s always could go back home. After saying goodbye to her friends, Dorothy double-taps her silver shoes and returns home.
