Scrim, the lightweight fabric popularly used in theaters for curtains and drapes, is available in Grosh Backdrops and Draperys online collection. Made of very light textile such as lightweight cotton or flax, scrims do not absorb light but reflect and transmit it, making them a good pair for cycloramas. Scrims can also be used to soften backdrops and suggest a greater sense of depth and can be used for special effects to mask or reveal characters and sets with lighting.
